🛒 Ordering & Customization

Q: How do I place an order?

You can order directly through our website. For custom cakes and event orders, please contact us through our enquiry form or Instagram DM.

Q: How much notice do you need for custom cakes?

We require at least 7 days’ notice for custom cakes. For simple 8-inch cakes, you can order 24 hours in advance.

Q: Can I customize the design or flavors?

Yes! We offer customisable flavors, fillings, and designs. Share your theme or inspiration, and we’ll bring it to life.(NOTE: All cakes created by Cakepops et al are custom-made and uniquely handcrafted. While we can use inspirations from sample images provided, no two cakes will be exactly the same. Variations in design, color, and decoration may occur due to the handmade nature of our cakes and availability of the materials. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that your cake may not be an exact replica of any reference image.)

🚚 Delivery & Pickup

Q: Do you deliver?

Yes, we deliver across Durham and surrounding areas. Delivery fees vary by distance. We also offer local pickup from our kitchen.

Q: Do you ship cakes and cake jars nationwide?

Yes! Our cakes and jars are securely packaged and shipped with ice packs to keep them fresh.

Q: Can I get same-day delivery?

For cake jars and simple cakes, same-day or next-day delivery may be available depending on availability. Contact us directly to confirm.

 

💳 Payment

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, and Shopify Checkout. Deposits for custom orders are also available.

Q: Do I have to pay in full upfront?

Custom cakes and event bookings require a 70% deposit to secure your date. The balance is due before collection or delivery.

Q: Do your cakes contain allergens?

Yes. Our products are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soy. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee our cakes are allergen-free.

Q: Do you offer vegan or gluten-free options?

Yes, we can make certain items vegan or gluten-free upon request. Please contact us in advance.

 

🎉 Events & Corporate Orders

Q: Do you do dessert tables or corporate catering?

Yes! We create dessert tables, cake jars with branded labels, and bulk orders for corporate events. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Q: How far in advance should I book for weddings or large events?

We recommend 2–6 months in advance or more to secure your date.

 

🍰 Storage & Freshness

Q: How long do your cakes and jars last?

• Cakes: Best enjoyed within 3 days if refrigerated.

• Cake jars: Stay fresh up to 5–7 days in the fridge or freeze up to 2 months.

Q: How should I store my order?

Keep cakes refrigerated until about 1 hour before serving for best taste and texture.
